About
Dr. Anne Rita Øksengård is a neuro-geriatrician who has worked clinically on an academic basis for many years. Strongly inspired by all the patients she has met, she is now dedicated to bringing skilled people together in collaborative research partnerships. Her aim, as Head of Research in The Norwegian Health Association (Nasjonalforeningen for Folkehelsen) is to facilitate interaction and discovery, including people with their own dementia experience, to detect, prevent, diagnose and treat all dementia illnesses.
Research Support and Conference Contribution
Nasjonalforeningen for Folkehelsen is a non-profit organization working to combat cardiovascular diseases and dementia. They combine research funding, advocacy, and public health initiatives to improve the lives of those affected by these conditions. Through their research funding programs, they support innovative projects and facilitate knowledge exchange between researchers, healthcare professionals, and the public.
